The Mercy Interventional Neuroradiology Department offers patients an array of minimally invasive treatments to provide relief from debilitating pain and correct life-threatening conditions such as brain aneurysms, stroke and arteriovenous malformations (AVMs). As alternatives to invasive surgery, these treatments are advantageous in that they often result in lower risk to the patient, shorter hospital stays and faster recovery periods.
The recent addition of George Luh, MD, a nationally recognized expert in the field of Interventional Neuroradiology, and our state-of-the art Artis zee biplane system, enable Mercy to provide complete diagnostic and innovative interventional treatment of the brain and spine.
