Over the past 20 years, Mercy's Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Program has positively influenced the lives of more than 6,000 patients and their families. We offer a broad range of rehabilitation services that are among the most comprehensive in Northern California. This intensive rehabilitation program is designed for patients who are recovering from:
- Stroke
- Head, spinal cord, or orthopedic injury
- Amputation
- Major multiple trauma
- Guillian Barre and other neurologic disorders
In a supportive atmosphere, each patient is assisted to recover as fully as possible. We emphasize abilities, not disabilities. Every member of our team - physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, social workers, case managers and speech therapists - is highly skilled, experienced and dedicated.
